History of Karen Africa Gospel church

Karen Africa Gospel Church (AGC) is part of the Africa Gospel Church denomination, which traces its roots back to the missionary efforts of the World Gospel Mission in Kenya, beginning in 1905. The church was established to address the spiritual needs of the growing communities in the region.

In 1961, AGC became an autonomous entity, marking a significant milestone in its development. Over the years, the church has expanded rapidly, growing to nearly 2000 congregations across Kenya. The Karen branch, located in the vibrant suburb of Karen, Nairobi, serves as a vital hub for worship and community engagement.

Throughout its history, AGC has focused on fulfilling the Great Commission and the Great Commandment of Jesus Christ, promoting spiritual and social development. The church is committed to outreach efforts, missionary work, and empowering its members through various ministries, ensuring that the whole church is actively involved in spreading the whole gospel to the whole world.
