Chemichemi Bible Run
This plan is designed to guide you through the entire Bible in one year, offering a structured approach to deepen your understanding and grow spiritually. The plan is divided into three essential components to ensure success:
1. The Bible Reading Plan
You will focus on completing a specific book of the Bible. To make this manageable, we have designed a pdf calendar (brochure) which you can use online for a start, but we are also developing a hardcopy version of the brochure. You will follow this as a daily guide for your reading plan. This ensures a steady pace to complete the entire Bible by the end of 2025. You can read the assigned chapters daily, or adjust your schedule to suit your needs.
2. Audio Bible Support
For participants who prefer listening, an audio version of each book will be provided. Listening to the Bible is equally valuable and will help you stay aligned with the program’s goal of completing the entire Bible.
- Active Listening: Even if you are not in a position to read the Bible, it is essential to at least listen to the audiobook. This ensures everyone stays engaged and fulfills the goal of completing the Bible by the end of 2025.
- You can listen at your own pace, but try to complete the assigned portion of scripture at least by the end of the week.
3. Outlines and Devotional Materials
To enhance your understanding of each book, we will be provided with the following resources:
- Book Outlines: These will give you an overview of the book, its themes, key events, and important lessons.
- Devotionals: We will provide a devotional to assist in your Bible reading. These devotionals will reflect on key passages and provide practical applications for your spiritual growth.
How to Participate
- Follow the Plan: Stick to the reading or listening schedule provided each week.
- Engage with the Resources: Use the outlines and devotionals to deepen your understanding of each book.
- Stay Consistent: Whether reading or listening, consistency is the key to completing the Bible by December 2025. Try not to miss the daily reading but in case of inevitable circumstances, try not to delay by more than two days.
Tips for Success
- Set aside a specific time each day for your Bible reading or listening.
- Use the audio option when you are commuting, traveling, doing workouts, or household tasks.
- Reflect on what you read or hear, and journal your insights.
- You cannot make it by yourself. Use this reading plan as a family engagement to read the Bible together. You can also get an accountability partner to walk this journey together. All this is for mutual encouragement and discussion.
By the end of 2025, you will have completed the entire Bible, gained a richer understanding of God’s Word, and grown in your faith.
